Llucmajor is located in the south of the island. It has around 35.000 inhabitants. We recommend visiting the Fish Market, the monument to King Jaime III and the Church of Sant Miquel, the largest church in Mallorca after the Cathedral of [hidden] market is held every Wednesday and Friday. It is worth visiting, as it is a lively evento, with lots of different and interesting stalls: fruits, vegetables, clothing, crafts, etc..
In the heart of the town, there is Good quality and well stablished restaurants and bars such as Café Colón (founded in 1928), Bar España and Es Caliuet restaurant.
As for the nearby beaches, the gorgeous and world wide known “Es Trenc” is only 20 minutes away by car. From there you can visit the island of Cabrera or other beautiful beaches such as Colonia de Sant Jordi, Ses Covetes and Cala Pi. Lluchamyor is only 20 km from Son Sant Joan airport, 12 km from El Arenal and 25 km from Palma.
